Think Crew’s Design system empowers you to create visually distinctive and informative production strips that clearly communicate important information at a glance. The Design feature is a powerful tool that helps you customize how your schedule appears, making it easier for your team to interpret schedule information quickly and accurately.
Understanding Designs
In Think Crew, a Design is a collection of strip templates and color palettes that determine how your schedule boards will look. Designs allow you to:
- Standardize visual communication across your production
- Highlight critical information through customized strip layouts
- Create visual hierarchies with consistent color schemes
- Improve schedule readability with thoughtful information placement
Components of the Design System
The Design system consists of three main components:
1. Designs: The overall container that houses your strip templates and palettes. You can create multiple designs for different projects or scheduling scenarios.
2. Strips: Templates that define what information appears on a schedule strip and how it’s arranged. You can create different strip templates for various purposes (strip, banner or day break).
3. Palettes: Collections of colors used to visually distinguish different types of elements on your schedule board. Well-designed color palettes make it easier to identify element types at a glance.
