Managing Totals Columns

The Day Out of Days report in Think Crew includes important summary information in the form of Totals Columns. These columns provide valuable metrics about each element’s schedule, helping you analyze workloads and optimize planning.

Understanding Totals Columns

By default, your Day Out of Days report includes several standard totals columns:

  • Travel: The total travel days for that element
  • Work: The total work days for that element
  • Hold: The total hold days for that element
  • Holiday: The total holiday days for that element
  • Start: The date the element starts
  • Finish: The date the element wraps
  • Total: Total number of all days

Rearranging Columns

You can change the order in which totals columns appear:

  1. In the Columns Manager, look for the empty header columns for the totals
  2. Click and drag columns up or down to reorder them

Managing Totals Columns

Think Crew allows you to create manage which columns are visible:

  1. Go to the dropdown at the far right of the dood tool bar
  2. Click the dropdown and toggle any rows
  3. Toggling will turn that total column on or off

Strategic use of totals columns helps you optimize your schedule while maintaining awareness of important production metrics.
