The Elements Pane is your central hub for managing all production elements in a scenario. This powerful tool helps you assign elements efficiently during both the breakdown and scheduling processes.
Using the Elements Pane #
The Elements Pane is available in every scenario. It is divided into a menu bar and the elements work space.
The Menu Bar #
The menu bar offers the following options:
- Category Manager: Click this button to open the category manager
- Element Manager: Click this button to open the elements manager
- Add/Remove Elements: The add/remove elements field lets you add or remove any existing element (from any category) to the selected breakdown. You can also use it to create new elements and assign them to a category.
The Elements Work Space #
This area contains a hierarchical list of all categories. Any elements that are in the selected breakdown will appear under their category name.
To add an element to the selected breakdown, click on the down arrow in the category. A dropdown list of all elements in that category will appear. Select any element you want to add.
To remove an element, click that same down arrow and click on any element you wish to remove. You can also click the x next to the element’s name to remove it from the breakdown.
Mastering the Elements Pane will significantly improve your productivity in Think Crew, allowing you to efficiently manage all the components of your production from a single interface.
