Recycle Bin

1 min read

The Recycle Bin in Think Crew is a board that stores removed elements from your production board, allowing you to access them and potentially use them in any other board.

How the Recycle Bin Works #

The recycle bin is just a board, like any of the other boards in your schedule. It does have special abilities though:

  • If you delete a board, any strips that were in that board will be moved to the recycle bin.
  • If you have multiple scenarios, any new strips that you create in one scenario/board will appear in the other scenario’s recycle bins
  • You cannot delete it.

Accessing the Recycle Bin #

To access the Recycle Bin:

  1. Open your schedule
  2. Click the Recycle Bin board tab
  3. You will be able to see the contents of your recycle bin

Restoring Elements #

To restore elements from the Recycle Bin:

  1. Open the Recycle Bin
  2. Drag any strips from the recycle bin to any other viewable board

Emptying the Recycle Bin #

To clear all items from the Recycle Bin:

  1. Open the Recycle Bin
  2. Click the trash button
  3. Confirm the action in the verification dialog

The Recycle Bin provides peace of mind during scheduling, ensuring that accidental removals don’t result in permanent data loss. Make it a habit to check your Recycle Bin before emptying it to ensure you don’t need any of the removed elements.
