How to Hard-Reload Think Crew

If you’re experiencing issues with Think Crew where you seem to be viewing an outdated version of the site, your browser may be loading a cached version. This article will guide you through performing a “hard reload” to clear your browser’s cache and ensure you’re viewing the most recent version.

What is a Hard Reload? #

A hard reload forces your browser to discard its cached version of a website and download all resources (images, scripts, stylesheets) fresh from the server. This is different from a standard refresh, which may use cached elements.

Google Chrome #

Windows:

  2. Hold down Ctrl and press F5

  2. Hold down Ctrl and press F5
    • Alternatively: Hold Ctrl + Shift and press R

Safari (macOS) #

  1. Navigate to ThinkCrew.com
  2. Hold Option + Command and press E (to empty the cache)
  3. Then hold Command and press R (to reload)

Alternative method:

  1. Open Safari’s menu and select “Develop” > “Empty Caches”
    • If you don’t see the Develop menu, enable it in Safari > Preferences > Advanced by checking “Show Develop menu in menu bar”
  2. Then reload the page by pressing Command + R

Additional Solutions #

If hard-reloading doesn’t solve your issue, try these additional steps:

  1. Clear your entire browser cache:
    • Chrome/Edge: Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
    • Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data
    • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove All
  2. Try incognito/private browsing mode:
